How can ALN Help Apartment Locators?

The ALN Locator Program is an internet-based system which contains not only complete apartment searching capabilities but also a client database including call back reminders, billing and much more. Each agent has their own Log In Code and Password thus ensuring that the information you enter about your client is "for your eyes only". In this fashion, you may access your files from any computer in the world that has access to the internet. You can work at your office and then access all your records from your house that evening, if you want!

One of the first features you will find is that when a locator enters the basic information on a new client (their name, address and phone numbers), the ALN program looks through all of the other locator's files to try to determine if that client is already working with another agent. If a match is found, you will be told what caused the "hit" and how to contact the other locator. For instance, if you enter "Jim Jones at 972/123-4567" into the system as your new client, if there is a "hit", you will be told that someone by that same name is working with the locator John Smith and how you can get in touch with John. It is not a tool that can be used to steal clients from one locator to another (since it never tells you anything about someone else's client unless you have entered the same data), but is instead a way to get some of the commission issues worked out ahead of time, rather than after the client has already leased.

In addition, the ALN Locator Program allows you (the apartment locator) to create a list for each of your client's, "park" it on the internet, and give your client a web-site address to go to and a "package number" they can enter to retrieve that specific package. Pictures and floor plans, detailed listings of apartment information and your own customized notes are available to your client over the internet 24-hours a day. And, if your client changes the search parameters (say they raise their high price by $50), you simply make your changes in your system and your client can use that same package number to retrieve the new listings!

Another neat feature available to our Dallas/Fort Worth locators is the ability to put together a package and fax it to your client through our system. You will not have to print the report and stand over a fax machine--you just create the package and click on FAX THIS TO MY CLIENT and our computers will do the rest!
