METHODOLOGY

ALN currently updates nearly 13,000 properties on a monthly basis. No other service available anywhere comes close to matching our speed or accuracy. We are the first to be able to show you changes in trends. With other data providers, you must wait until they update their quarterly or semi-annual data, which is simply too late in this industry.

ALN takes an aggressive approach to data collection. There are four primary ways we update our data:

1. Electronic Pricing Updates. ALN collects rental rates on a daily or weekly basis directly from many companies. All other data points are then updated in one of many other fashions.
2. All properties are faxed an update sheet each month where they can change prices, occupancies, concessions, management information, key on-site personnel and a host of other data points.
3. All properties receive a monthly email with login codes and passwords where they may change any information needed.
4. For every property that does not make changes directly online and who do not reply to our fax is then called by one of our 20+ telephone updaters. These people have been extensively trained on what information is important and how best to gather what is needed. Some of these updaters have been with ALN for more than 17 years and are experts in data collection.

Information in this industry changes every day and ALN is the only company that can keep you updated with thousands of datapoints on nearly 13,000 properties.
